First Thoughts on Super Pump 250
by Chris

As I have said in the past, from time to time I do like to try out new supplements that I feel as though may have potential. This go around I decided to give Gaspari Nutrition’s Super Pump 250 a try, and so far, the results I have seen have been pretty pleasing.

Super Pump 250 is supposed to give you exactly what the name entails – a super pump. Similar to NO-xplode, Super Pump 250 is supposed to give you a surge of energy to help you get through a tough workout. The idea behind these “energy drinks on steroids” is that the extra energy and level of focus will help you workout for longer and harder, allowing you to break down (and later build) more muscle.

Amazingly, Super Pump 250 isn’t loaded with sugar like most energy drinks so you don’t have to worry about a crash after it has worn off.

I have so far taken Super Pump 250 for three days and just today upped the dosage from 1 scoop to 2 scoops and can report that I do feel a difference 30 minutes after taking the product. I am able to get more reps out at higher weights than without Super Pump 250. True, this maybe a placebo effect, but I have no real way of testing since I only have myself to administer the doses. Additionally, my level of focus while at the gym is great. Even while driving to the gym I noticed that I am more focused on the task at hand – driving – than normally. I don’t find myself looking at anything on the side of the road, but rather what’s directly in front of me.

Gaspari Nutrition recommends that after an assimilation of several doses has been completed to move up to three scoops 30 minutes prior to working out. I’ll hold off for about a week or so before I move up to the full dosage of three scoops to allow my body to get used to such a powerful stimulant.

So far I’m more impressed with this product than I was with NO-xplode. Only time will tell, though.
