About
First, let me start off by answering the first question that probably came into your mind when you started reading around this place:
Why should I listen to you?
The answer to that isn’t easily answered or believed for that matter, as I’m sure there are more than just a handful of other gym-goers out there who have similar blogs. In fact, there is not one simple answer to that question. I can assure you, however, that I have been an avid lifter for more than 5 years now and have certainly seen major changes in my body as a result. From strength to stamina, and to overall body fat (AKA “cut”). I have been able to work on those and numerous other aspects of my body – both physical and mental – over the years.
I started lifting just for fun, but it has since become a staple in my everyday life. So much so that it’s to the point that if I skip a day in the gym, I feel as though I have cheated myself out of something good. That is what I believe sets me apart from the other 95 percent of gym goers who simply go to the gym “just because” and don’t have any preset goals prior to entering.
I have tried all different sorts of workout routines and schedules, different dieting regimes in order to lessen my overall body fat, and have taken countless supplements over the years. Let me just mention to you now that the vast majority of those new supplements that you see on TV and in magazines are garbage to begin with.
Certainly there are people out there that have been lifting for longer than I have and have more knowledge on the subject, however I feel as though it would be a waste for me not to share what I know about lifting, dieting correctly, and generally living well. This blog is an attempt for me to share my knowledge with the rest of the world in hopes that someone – whether it be 1 person or 1,000 people – benefits from what I have learned over the last 5 to 10 years of my life.
Now that that question is out of the way, I can tell you a little about who I am.
Who are you?
I live a very active life style. I’m constantly on the go which is a pain in the ass when trying to bulk up as I have to eat even MORE calories than the average person with my stature trying to bulk up. I work about 50 hours a week and am currently a full time student who is majoring in business administration but was formerly majoring in computer science – hence the ability for me to easily set up my own blog.
I started lifting when I was about 15-years-old in high school, but didn’t really start seriously lifting until I was about 17. And by serious, I mean by having a set workout routine and a semi-good dieting program.
