So I wanted to put this page together to act as a gateway for those of you who are looking for quick info on weight lifting topics or topics related to health. Whenever I find something online that I think is worth mentioning, I’ll add it to this list. I’ll also try to keep this list as short as possible by only putting the best of what I encounter on here. This tool is quite handy for those of you who are trying to lose weight. Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is the amount of calories that you must consume in order to maintain your current body weight. The output of this calculator is only the amount of calories required to carry out tasks such as breathing, digesting food, processing thoughts, etc. It does not take into account running, walking, lifting, working, etc.

How to squat like a pro
If you’re going to take advice from someone when it comes to squatting, it ought to be Matt Wenning. He’s right up there with guys like Captain Kirk with an 1100 pound squat and a mind blowing 2600 pound total in one competition.
